Turnigy 9x assemble simple drone

how to assemble simple drones

For a Newbie hobby multirotor, compiling a list of quadcopter parts the first time can be very confusing.Turnigy 9x assemble simple drone
Trying to figure out what to buy and what the parts are about is very difficult, especially for those of you who do not come from a background on a radio control plane or a helicopter.
Join a forum packed with people who want to build a quadcopter but do not know where to start, end up frustrated instead choosing thousands of posts on forums and blogs and figuring out what to do.
From now on you do not worry, we've heard from many complaints from consumers who are in the same position and this post is designed to outline what you need to assemble your own quadcopter for the first time.
In the meantime we will recommend a complete list of the parts we previously used to assemble the complete quadcopter, the main purpose of this post is to provide an overview of the parts needed to build a quadcopter. Here's what you'll need:
Frame
Motor x4
Electronic Speed Control (ESC) x4
Flight Control Board
Radio transmitter & Receiver
Propeller x4 (2 Clockwise (CW) and 2 Counter-clockwise (CCW))
Battery & Charger
You will also need some other accessories such as zipties, velcro tape, cables, battery straps, and some lead female to female or jumper cables.
During assembling, you will also be dabbled with soldering iron, small screwdriver, hex wrench, pointed pliers, and hot glue gun. hehe
Now we will go to each part in detail and give special recommendation for you.

Frame

Any quadcopter or multirotor plane needs to frame as a home for all components.
Things to consider here are weight, size, and materials.
We recommend the F450 DJI FlameWheel or one of many other clones.
This is a large quadcopter frame. They are powerful, lightweight, and have easy-to-understand configurations including a built-in power distribution board (PDB) that makes it possible to clean and easily assemble.
There are many parts and accessories available from various websites. There are also many cheap clones out there, most of which include built-in GDP and long-lasting construction just like the original. Parts and accessories are 100% compatible and interchangeable.

MOTORCYCLE

The motor has a clear function: to rotate the propeller.
There are many motors on the market that are suitable for quadcopters, and usually you do not want to get the cheapest motor available.
A Motor is rated in kilovolts, the higher the kV rating, the faster the motor rotates at a constant voltage.
When purchasing a motor, most sites will show how many of your ESC amps and pair them with what they should and the size of the propeller you should use. For more details read the article on Choosing the Right Motor for Your Drone or Multirotor

ESC (ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLS)

ESC stands for Electronic Speed Controller. It is an electronic controller motor that controls the speed, direction and possibly braking of the motor.
Many ESC's have built-in battery eliminator circuits (BEC), which allow to power the flight control boards and radio receivers without connecting them directly to the battery.
Because the motor on the quadcopter should all spin at the right speed to achieve accurate flight, ESC is essential.
Sekang this if you are building a quadcopter or multirotor, pretty much the standard for using ESC which has SimonK firmware.
This firmware changes the refresh rate of the ESC so that the motor gets more instructions per second than ESC, so it has more control over this quadcopter behavior. Many companies sell ESCs that have SimonK firmware installed. Here is one available at Crocodile-Instrument.comTurnigy 9x assemble simple drone

FLIGHT CONTROLLER

Flight Controller is the 'brain' of the quadcopter. The Flight Controller is home to sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers that determine how fast each quadcopter motor rotates.
Flight controllers range from simple to very complex. One of the popular flight controllers is Ardupilot APM 2.8. FC is very affordable, easy to set, and has a tough function. The following is the APM 2.8 shopping flight controller link

RADIO TRANSMITTER & RECEIVER

Radio transmitter and Receiver allow you to control quadcopter. There are many models available, but you will need at least four channels for basic quadcopter with APM 2.8 control board. We recommend using radio with 9 channels, so there is more flexibility for later projects that may require more channels. Turnigy 9x assemble simple drone

Chances are the issues you have been experienced and resolved before, or someone in a forum like rcgroup or local forum rc.web.id who will be able to help you.
Information: there is a newer model of this radio coming out - Turnigy 9xR Pro - which can be found here.

PROPELLER

A quadcopter has four propellers, two "normal" propellers that rotate counterclockwise, and two "propellers" propellers rotate clockwise.
Propeller blades will usually be labeled with the letter 'R' after the size. For quadcopter configuration in this post, we are using 9 × 4.7 props. This is a good size for the motor and ESC we use.
Lots of Propellers are available on online websites or marketplaces such as Tokopedia. Below in Crocodile-instrument is also available Propeller 9047 SF

BATTERY

Quadcopters usually use Lipo batteries that come in different sizes and configurations. We usually use 3S battery, which shows 3 cells. Each cell is 3.7 volts, so the battery is rated at 11.1 volts. Lipo battery also has C rating and power rating in mAh (which stands for milliamps per hour).
C Rating describes the rate at which power can be drawn from the battery, and the power rating explains how much battery power it can provide. larger batteries are heavier so there is always a tradeoff between flight duration and total weight. A general rule of thumb is that doubling the battery power will get 50% more flight time, assuming your quadcopter can lift additional weight. For this quadcopter, we recommend 3000mAh Lipo like this.

CHARGER

Liquid charging is a complex process, as there are usually several cells in the battery that must be charged and discharged at the same level.
Therefore you must have a balancer charger.

Actually There are many fillers in the market that can be used, but be careful with low prices or off-brand chargers because many of them have broken components and can cause an explosion or fire. In general you should really never leave the battery charging unattended Lipo. Many people charge batteries outside the cement area or use a lipo safe bag (though this effectiveness is still much debate). We recommend the IMAX B6 AC Balance Charger. It is affordable yet reliable. Be careful of knock-offs.

CONCLUSION
Everything we discussed in this article is the main component you need to build a quadcopter.
There are hundreds of configurations that may be the process of choosing part of it is confusing for most newbie to this RC hobby.
